This Beach is at the west end of Corona del Mar State Beach in Newport Beach, Ca. Pirates Cove is a unique section of Corona del Mar Beach and can be accessed by climbing over the rocks (there are stairs leading part way down) at the west end of the parking lot. Just before the rocks, you will see a nice, grassy picnic area. Pirates Cove is popular due to its calm waters and rock cave formations. It is the last section of Corona del Mar Beach, just before the Newport Boat Channel.
